Got Grime? Bring Back That Showroom Shine!

In Partnership with Eagle One

We talked to Scott from MI and here’s what he had to say:

Q
Tell us about your dream road trip.

A
I’d like to take a road trip with a few of my friends from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier on the historic Route 66. We’d probably plan very little, but drive as far as we want each day to tent camp for the night. Because music is so important to us, I’m sure everyone will want some time to play theirs on the car radio. And we’d bring guitars, banjos, and bongos for nightly jams around the fire. On Route 66, we’d probably stop to look at whatever interests us (I’m a history buff) and play several disc golf courses along the way.
Q
What kind of car guy are you?

A
I’m not into fixing cars, but I love driving. I always try to pick a vehicle that can hold at least 4 because I’m often the primary driver on trips with friends. I appreciate a car that runs well and is at least somewhat kind to our environment. I keep a few necessities in the car, and can sleep in it if I need to. It stays pretty clean, but usually gets a good cleaning after trips.
Q
Describe how the wheels and tires on your car looked before using Eagle One.

A
I actually had preferred the Tire Shine, but after asking an employee, he didn’t think they carried it. So I went with the Eagle One A27 All Wheel & Tire Cleaner – 23 oz. My tires and wheels are mildly dirty, mostly from winter road salt. I haven’t cleaned them since I got the car about 22 months ago (it was new). I’m excited to try Eagle One cleaner to remove any remaining salt residue and hopefully bring some shine back.
Q
How’d your wheels and tires look after using Eagle One?

A
Wow! This stuff worked better than I expected with minimal effort. I was surprised the cleaner only sprayed out in a thick foam from both sprayer levels, rather than a spray or mist. The foam necessitates more sprays, and might get used up fast. But once it was on the tire and wheel, I almost immediately saw the foam start to turn brown as it ran down the wheel and tire, pulling the dirt with it. I covered the whole out-facing tire and wheel, let it sit for 1 or 2 minutes, then wiped it off (I don’t have access to a hose right now or I’d have rinsed it off). Each tire took less than 5 minutes from spray to finish. I was expecting about an 8 (out of 10 for clean/shine); I wouldn’t hesitate to rate the new clean as a 10! I honestly think the tires and wheels look cleaner than they were at the car dealer! I would rate the tires/wheels clean/shine before using Eagle One as a 5, so a great improvement.

Eagle One Tire Cleaner brought my tires and wheels back from the grime of winter and gave them a new car shine!
