Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Jeff M. from MO about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Jeff M.:  "The broth is sweet yet salty. Its peppered beef flavor tantalizes your tongue and gives you a kick of spicy chili pepper. The hints of ginger add the perfect touch complimenting the mushrooms. The noodles cooked to the perfect consistency that I love. They are tender with a slippery texture that you can slurp the noodles up."

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Jeff M.:  I would add shrimp to it as an option. Also it would be great to add over some saute'd beef and mushrooms.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Jeff M.:  Honestly, I loved the shiitaki mushrooms. The spices had more kick than any other ramen I've tried. The ingredients themselves in the broth outmatch any other quick serve ramen.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Jeff M.:  I went to the faucet and poured water just a little over the noodles. I added the spice packet and microwaved 3 minutes. I really liked that I didn't have to leave the cover on it just to tear off later. In addition, I noticed the cup is double insulated.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Jeff M.:  The level of heat is off the charts. The spice has a kick to them and leaves your lips burning for a while after consumption. If you really like spicy food then this is perfect!
