Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to De‚ÄôShonne C from VA about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
De‚ÄôShonne C:  These noodles are just excellent and especially when they're not overcooked and have some chew to them. Also, for those sensitive to MSG this product does not have any in its noodles or in its soup base (soup powder packet). This flavor is very spicy. Not jumping jalapeño, but a calm and milder kick compared to the black labeled Spicy variety. Inside are little bits of dehydrated kimchi and a packet of seasoning. The taste of the broth very savory with a hint of vinegar.
“I feel as if this product is great for a little snack and it would be something very healthy with all the healthy ingredients.”

Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
De‚ÄôShonne C:  You can add all sorts of things to hearten this ramen up: eggs, spinach, tofu, kimchi, bean sprouts. This ramen IS salty (and moderately spicy), so you can add extra cooking water and dump it out after serving, or half the seasoning packet.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
De‚ÄôShonne C:  I love Nongshim Shin Ranyun Noodles! I love them in the smaller self preparing containers better though. These 4.2 ounce packages make a LARGE bowl of noodles.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
De‚ÄôShonne C:  It's a very easy and go process because you don't have to always cook something with the amazing taste this product has for the consumers.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
De‚ÄôShonne C:  It's spicy but this wouldn't hurt your mouth to the extreme where it's burning. I feel as if this product is great for a little snack and it would be something very healthy with all the healthy ingredients.
