Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to David H. from IN about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
David H.:  The moment I put the noodles in my mouth, there was an explosion of the taste of red chili pepper. The noodles themselves were quite supple, and the floor adhered to them quite well. Overall, a spicy, yet delicious meal!
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
David H.:  I would love to add jalapenos to this soup to really spice it up! I believe using this product along with fresh sushi would make for a delectable experience.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
David H.:  I absolutely love the spice that this item gives! Other ramen products I have tried tend to have less think of noodles, and they tend to taste artificial. I feel a fresh burst of flavor from this soup cup.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
David H.:  I prepared the Shin Cup by adding hot water and letting it sit for 3 minutes. This is an awesome on-the-go item that can be made quickly.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
David H.:  Let me preface this by saying that I love spicy foods and have a good tolerance for side. The first bite I had hit me hard as I did not expect it to be as spicy. I would tell someone to be ready for a pleasant, yet strong burst of spice right off the bat that sticks with you through the whole cup.
“I feel a fresh burst of flavor from this soup cup.”
