Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Javier T. from CA about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Javier T.:  Initially I smell a beef broth. The noodles are what you'd expect from a Cup O Noodle bowl, a bit chewy. The broth is definitely spicy and I appreciate the flavor. It's not bland, I added some sardines to bolster the meal and add some protein.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Javier T.:  The flavor of the broth is just the right amount of spicy. I would add some protein like carne asada beef or some sardines. Another suggestion would be to add more water to get more of the broth.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Javier T.:  The spicy flavor sets it apart from regular Cup O Noodles. With other ramen I always seem to be adding spices and hot sauce. The value for what you get is worth the price.

Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Javier T.:  Very easy to prepare. I use my Keurig machine to dispense hot water into container and wait a few minutes. There's no mess. The spices and flavor are to my liking. As a suggestion I would add meat, beef or fish to make it a big meal.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Javier T.:  I would say this is above average in heat and spicy. Normal ramen bowls require more flavor. This product comes with its own spices.
