We talked to Jason P from TN about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:
Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Jason P: The earthiness of the mushroom was noticed and great. The noodles had a good toothiness to it. It had a much richer and deeper broth than comparable noodles.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Jason P: I would add more mushrooms or thin beef slices (think pho). I think a halved piece of bok choy would be great also.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Jason P: It was a much richer broth certainly. It also had the most veggies, which is my favorite part.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Jason P: It was a very simple microwave meal preparation. I did however place it in a bowl versus the bowl provided.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Jason P: I enjoy heat so the heat and spice felt just right or even slightly low to me.
