Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Aaron A. from ND about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Aaron A.:  The broth has a spicy, yet flavorful, kick that lingers on the tongue. The texture of the noodles is pleasant, not mushy, but also not crunchy. The broth and noodles combined create a delicious and convenient meal, that proved to be very satisfying. It is very spicy, but not over the top.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Aaron A.:  Because I like to have some sort of protein with my meals, I would add some sort of cooked meat to the Shin Cup when preparing it. I would like to try making a Korean-style spicy beef using the Shin Cup and beer short ribs.
“Delicious and convenient meal.”

Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Aaron A.:  I found the Shin Cup to be the most flavorful instant ramen I've tried. The price was very reasonable and comparable to similar products.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Aaron A.:  To prepare the Shin Cup, I followed the instructions on the label, pouring in hot water up to the inside line and replacing the lid for 3 minutes. It was very easy to make and would absolutely be convenient on-the-go.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Aaron A.:  I would describe this as very enjoyable for someone who really likes spicy, as it has a good kick to it. I would also describe it as probably too much for someone who doesn't like spicy or who doesn't handle spicy well.
