Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.

We talked to Joseph C. from TX about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:

Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Joseph C.:  The mixture of flavor overall was good, except the flavor pack seemed too spiey making it hot. The noodles were smooth and vegetables were great, but if it had a chicken flavor packet I think it would be much better for me. I would purchase it again if there were other flavor packets that were not hot or spicy, but overall it is a good taste with just the right texture noodles!
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Joseph C.:  I would replace the flavor package with a Beef or Chicken flavor, and I would prepare a healthy salad to go along with the soup cup for a great meal.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Joseph C.:  The texture of the noodles was perfect, even after using the hot water method to cook the soup. I do not think other Ramen cook perfectly just using hot water, where the Shin cup does.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Joseph C.:  It was truly easy as I used the hot water methood which takes the same amount of time as the microwave oven. So the ease of preparation is much better, without the need of a microwave oven.
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Joseph C.:  It's too spicy for me, but if you enjoy spicy hot foods I'm sure you would really enjoy it.
