We talked to Jesse M from WV about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:
Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Jesse M: These noodles really surprised me in more ways then one, but mainly in good ways. One thing I noticed are the intense flavors of the seasonings. The broth really delicious, but will make you sweat, because of the spiciness. The noodles are perfect in texture, not too chewy or mushy. The type of noodles used and broth really compliment each other. Overall, this product is very tasty and I will buy it again.
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Jesse M: If I wanted to create a better experience when eating this product, I would pair it with mushrooms and sushi.
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Jesse M: What I like most about the Shin Cup, is the lack of certain preservatives. The specific preservative that I tend to avoid, that is often in other ramen, is called TBHQ. I also, enjoyed the seasoning compared to other ramen, but I wish it wasn't so spicy.
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Jesse M: It was very easy to follow the directions when preparing this product. Its cook time was accurate and seemed to cook the noodles to perfection.

Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Jesse M: If I was recommending this for someone else, I'd tell them that is has quite a kick when it comes to spiciness. It was very hot in my opinion and could be better by being made with less of the spice. It would not be recommended to anybody who only likes slightly spicy foods.
