Deliciously spicy and perfectly affordable, the Nongshim Shin Cup is an ideal pick for on-the-go eating. You'll love the bright, satisfying heat and mix of flavors in this gourmet ramen. It's a quick-prepare soup that's just as good at home (with extras like a cracked egg and veggies) as it is on your lunch break (ready in a flash). All you have to do is wait for 3 minutes — stir well + serve. These shin cups are versatile and so simple to make.
We talked to Chris E. from VA about Nongshim and here's what he had to say:
Q: Describe the different flavor notes that you taste in the broth, the texture of the noodles, and overall taste of the noodles in the broth.
Chris E.: Wow! For someone like myself who has been to China before, this Shin Noodle Soup takes truly authentic. Soup has wonderful spicy aroma and even has shitake mushrooms, green onions and carrots added for extra flavor! The noodle texture is perfect. Not too soft and not too firm. The price is unbelievable too. I'd easy pay triple for this as a delicious meal on the go, at work or even st home!
Q: How would you choose to enhance your mealtime experience of the Shin Cup (e.g. what would you add to it, or what recipes would you make with it)?
Chris E.: To enhance my mealtime experience with the Shin Cup, I would add some fresh bean spouts to it for an added crunch! The soup would pair perfectly with a Spring Roll as well!
Q: What did you like most about the Shin Cup, and how does it differ from other ramen you’ve tried?
Chris E.: The Shin Cup blows ramen out of the water! The Shin Cup is packed with favor and spice whereas all other ramen I have tried is very bland and watery, but not the Shin Cup!
Q: Describe how you prepared the Shin Cup, the level of convenience in preparing it, and your thoughts on its ease of preparation on-the-go.
Chris E.: The Shin Cup was super easy to prepare. I simply removed the cover to the cup, added water to the line inside of the cup and heated for 3 minutes in my microwave. No mess and no hassle!
Q: If you were recommending this product to someone else, how would you describe the level of heat and general spiciness?
Chris E.: I love my food spicy and I would say this has just the right amount of heat and spice. If anyone loves spicy foods, they will love the amount of spice in the Shin Cup.
“The Shin Cup blows ramen out of the water!”
