What eggs should be…

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Kelly from VA and here’s what he had to say:

Q
Tell us how you prepared your Happy Eggs.

A
Straight-up fried with just a bit of olive oil in a skillet. Add a dash of salt and pepper. This is my favorite way to eat eggs.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I think that it’s great that the chickens have that much space to be all chicken-like. Their nature is to spread their wings and scratch and such, so this farm sounds much more conducive to it.
Q
The Holidays are coming! What festive dish would you use Happy Eggs for?

A
I would most likely use these for a breakfast casserole that I would make when family is here.
Q
What’s your favorite Holiday memory?

A
My favorite holiday memories have always centered around getting together with distant relatives at Christmas time.
These eggs are from chickens that have 8 full acres to run around and be chicken-y, so they taste more like what an egg should taste like: bugs, seeds, and grit.
