Living Healthily: The Chicken And The Egg

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.
We talked to Jacque from CA and here’s what he had to say:
Q
Tell us how you prepared your Happy Eggs.

A
I put one Happy Egg in a “Just Crack an Egg” breakfast cup. It tasted good and was fresher than I expected. It was easy to prepare. I give Happy Eggs four and a half out of five stars.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I was not aware of Hen Welfare and I am 100% behind the ethical treatment of ALL living things, hens included. All life is precious…Hooray Happy Egg Co.!
Q
The Holidays are coming! What festive dish would you use Happy Eggs for?

A
I would use Happy Eggs as an upgrade to the Christmas morning quiche. Something perfect now becomes better. My mom is who I will eat it with and she’s also whom I get my love of animals from. She had two chickens growing up named Kiki and Sam. She still to this day talks about Kiki and Sam.
Q
What’s your favorite Holiday memory?

A
When I was a kid and still believed in Santa, I vividly remember this one magical moment. I awoke before anyone else and Santa had already come. The part that sticks with me and takes me back is how giddy and almost taken aback I was when I saw that the carrot I left for Rudolph was half-eaten and all nibbled up. It was real as real can be when it happened. Rudolph was here and liked his surprise…good memory.
Happy Eggs knows that sacrifice, mixed with genuine compassion, is the recipe for the betterment of all things, even hens.
