Hens Raised As Pets Produce Better Eggs

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Wayne from TX and here’s what he had to say:

Q
What’s your favorite way to prepare Happy Eggs?

A
I love to eat and prepare my eggs with salt and pepper and mix in some onions and some type of meat leftover from the previous days dinner.
Q
The new year is the perfect time to try new things. What Happy Egg Co. recipe will you try?

A
Marmalade and Banana French Toast sounds so good. I would love to have that because I just love French toast and have never had it like that before.
Q
Happy Egg Hens are pasture raised with over 8 acres of outdoor space to run + play. What do you think of Happy Eggs high animal welfare standards?

A
It sounds like a wonderful idea to keep the hens out of cages and let them run and play with their other hen friends. The hens sure seem like they would be much healthier not being in cages and sitting in their own crap all day.
Q
What do you think of Happy Egg’s choice to raise their hens on small family farms, in support of family farmers?

A
This is a wonderful idea. If the farmers raise the hens and their families, the hens may get named and taken care of like family. This is a great idea. I would rather buy from the farmers than massive egg plants where they are cruel to the hens.

Happy Eggs are better than the caged eggs because they are much better for you.
