Happy Farm Eggs Giving A Job To Small Farmers

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jon from CA and here’s what he had to say:

Q
What’s your favorite way to prepare Happy Eggs?

A
My favorite way to cook eggs is to scramble them but I also like them sunny side up. I feel like when you scramble eggs they get fluffy and also you can add cheese or other items to the egg as well. I like sunny side up if I’m having an egg and toast because I feel like they complement each other very well. These free range eggs I feel are more fluffy when cooked. I think someone else would like to eat their eggs scrambled because of the many options available to add. You could look up omelette recipes or just add the ingredients straight into the eggs. So yummy!
Q
The new year is the perfect time to try new things. What Happy Egg Co. recipe will you try?

A
The Rocky Sunrise Bacon and Egg Burger recipe sounds really good and interesting. I don’t think I have ever had anything like that before. I would use that recipe if I had family or friends over to give them the experience of trying a new dish. I also really like Deviled Eggs so I would love to try there recipe for that as well.
Q
Happy Egg Hens are pasture raised with over 8 acres of outdoor space to run + play. What do you think of Happy Eggs high animal welfare standards?

A
I am a firm supporter of pasture-raised free-range hens. I feel like you get a healthier egg from hens that are not cooped up in small pens with tons of other birds. I feel like the birds probably get less disease and therefore produce more eggs and healthier eggs. Also you get a much fluffier light egg from free-ranged hens then cramped farm hens.
Q
What do you think of Happy Egg’s choice to raise their hens on small family farms, in support of family farmers?

A
I am also very happy that Happy Egg uses small family farms. It gives families the opportunity to provide needs for their family and the families of America. With more small farms there is more opportunities for farmers to run a small farm and not have to compete with large corporate farms.
Happy Farm Eggs do just what their name implies, they make me happy.
