Happy Eggs = Smile

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Brian from TX and here’s what he had to say:

Q
Tell us how you prepared your Happy Eggs.

A
I made a fried egg with the yolk just a little runny and put it on a toasted croissant with American cheese and some thick cut bacon. I had some croissants and I love to make egg sandwiches when I have them. Most of the time my kids eat all the croissants before I get any, but there was one left! It tasted great. The egg was fluffy and had a good flavor. I like the yolk just a little runny so I can have some of the golden magic without too much mess.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I was not aware of what the Happy Egg Co. stood for before now, but now that I know, it makes me understand why the price is higher and it makes it worth it. I agree with anyone who is trying to make a positive change to the way we treat animals. We may be carnivores, be we still need to respect what we eat and where it comes from.
Q
The Holidays are coming! What festive dish would you use Happy Eggs for?

A
We always make deviled eggs and these will definitely be perfect for that. We also make pecan pie. Both of these need a good egg or it can ruin the whole thing! I will be sharing it with my family (7 siblings, 24 grandchildren) and my wife’s family.
Q
What’s your favorite Holiday memory?

A
My favorite memory is my boys’ first Christmas. My wife’s grandmother made me my own batch of dressing that she makes from scratch. I spent it with my new family.
They come from happy chickens to put a smile on your face.
