Happy Eggs For Happy Kids

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Jason from CO and here’s what he had to say:

Q
What’s your favorite way to prepare Happy Eggs?

A
I tend to cook scrambled and love all the ways you can incorporate whatever you have at home or that is in season. Another favorite is to cook two eggs slightly over-easy, so the yolk runs just a little bit, and season with a little salt and pepper. I add melted cheese and on an English muffin… adding a little homemade jam and/or mild hot sauce hopefully… and think that breakfast sandwich is hard to beat.
Q
The new year is the perfect time to try new things. What Happy Egg Co. recipe will you try?

A
I would like to try the Cheesy Easy Breakfast Casserole.
Q
Happy Egg Hens are pasture raised with over 8 acres of outdoor space to run + play. What do you think of Happy Eggs high animal welfare standards?

A
I appreciate Happy Egg’s commitment to raising pasture-raised, free-range hens. Eggs are an important part of my family’s menu each week and we choose Happy Egg because of the care they ensure for the hens and the impact that ultimately has on our wellness.
Q
What do you think of Happy Egg’s choice to raise their hens on small family farms, in support of family farmers?

A
We support local family farms because we get great quality, unbeatable freshness and that choice results in less environmental impact. We believe their success adds to our community’s success.
Happy Eggs taste great because they come from healthy hens… or at least my kids tell me that’s why they’re the best.
