Happy (And Ethical) Eggs!

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Adam from CA and here’s what he had to say:

Q
Tell us how you prepared your Happy Eggs.

A
I cooked my Happy Eggs over easy using butter as an oil for the pan. I seasoned with a little salt and pepper.
Q
How do you feel about The Happy Egg Co.’s commitment to hen welfare?

A
I always vote for animal rights even if it means the store prices will be higher. I am very aware that chickens are abused the most. It makes me very happy to see a responsible chicken farm option such as Happy Eggs in my area.
Q
The Holidays are coming! What festive dish would you use Happy Eggs for?

A
I will be definitely making creme brulee with Happy Eggs. The freshness and taste of the eggs are very important to the dish. I have a feeling that happy chickens produce better tasting eggs. I can also use the humanely treated chickens as a way to create a buzz that will psychologically increase the flavor and quality of the dish.
Q
What’s your favorite Holiday memory?

A
I really enjoyed cooking the entire Thanksgiving dinner for my family. I designed the menu as a fancy dinner, not as the average everyday dish that people are not too excited about. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are a key part.

I love Happy Eggs because it supports a family farm that has ethical practices.
