Happy Chickens Make Happy Eggs

In Partnership with The Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Peter from CA and here’s what he had to say:

Peter on the Colors of Heritage Breed Shells
I opened these Heritage Eggs and said "Wow!" when I saw the two beautiful colors, brown and blue. I have never tried blue eggs but have tried brown so I am interested in their flavor and freshness.
What He Thought of the Rich Amber Yolk. . .
I cracked the eggs into a bowl and was amazed at the fire-red gorgeous yolk. I haven’t seen eggs like that since growing up with chickens with yolk colors like these.
His Thoughts on Heritage Breed’s Distinct Flavor
I scrambled two eggs and added salt and pepper at the end. The flavor was the freshest, richest scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. These are fresh delicious eggs. I can tell that these chickens were looked after.
Peter on Happy Egg’s Commitment to Free-Range Farming. . .
I love the way the eggs tasted and this is because the chickens are looked after and fed a good diet. I think all farmers should be doing this.
Happy Eggs are the freshest, richest eggs I’ve ever tasted.
