What He Thought of the Rich Amber Yolk. . .
The yolk is more yellow than that of regular eggs. The shape is also more round and seems more concentrated. I assume the taste will be more rich. I can’t wait to try it out.
His Thoughts on Heritage Breed’s Distinct Flavor
I cooked it sunny side up with some salt and pepper only. After I cooked the egg, the yolk color turned more amber. Surprisingly, it had no gamey taste. The flavor was also very rich and smooth.
