An Egg Above The Rest

In Partnership with The Happy Egg Co.

We talked to David from TX and here’s what he had to say:

David on the Colors of Heritage Breed Shells
I love the multi-colored egg shells; it gives a great spin on eggs. I’ve never had colored eggs before and I feel like they might taste more exquisite. It made me smile when I opened the carton.
What he Thought of the Rich Amber Yolk. . .
The color of the yolk was rich making these seem much healthier than normal eggs. Also, it was much brighter and fuller than the yolks of other commodity eggs. I was expecting a bland yellowish orange color so yes, I was surprised, but in a good way.
His Thoughts on Heritage Breed’s Distinct Flavor
I loved the flavor and they tasted more pure and healthier than other eggs. The texture was more smooth. I prepared them like I normally do, scrambled with a little milk, salt, pepper and some chopped vegetables.
David on Happy Egg’s Commitment to Free-Range Farming. . .
This commitment is so great to the branding. Here in Austin, I love buying local brands and ones that are organic. The health and pasturing of the hens are important to the taste and nutrients of the eggs.
Happy Egg captivated my senses and was a great spin on the egg commodities.
