An Original Idea Reworked To Be Even More Smooth And Creamy!
In Partnership with Philadelphia
We talked to Joseph from NJ and here’s what he had to say:
Joseph On The Taste of Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese
I purchased the original flavored Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese. The taste is very mild, not as strong as regular non whipped cream cheese. The texture is smooth and velvety. It’s somewhat similar to whipped cream but not as wet or as oily.
What He Would Pair Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese With…
I’ve tried the whipped cream cheese with crackers. I think it works better with crackers than regular traditional cream cheese because it’s whipped and therefore easier to spread on something that’s fragile like a cracker. Regular cream cheese wouldn’t work very well on many types of crackers. Due to its spreadable nature, I might also try it as a spread on sandwiches.
…When He Would Serve That Combo
I would take it on the go because it’s easily transportable and very light. I don’t know if it would be appropriate for children but I could see adults taking it to work and using it with crackers as a snack.
The Flavor Joseph Would Like to Try Next
I would like to see how the chive flavor would work in a whipped cream cheese format as when I think of chives I always think of sour cream and not cream cheese. It would be easy to use the original and add your own jarred fruit to it and see how that would taste.
