A Happy Egg-sperience

In Partnership with Happy Egg Co.

We talked to Matthew from OR and here’s what he had to say:

Q
What’s your favorite way to prepare Happy Eggs?

A
I like my eggs scrambled, not too runny, not too dry. I love cracking a couple in a bowl, adding just a pinch of salt and pepper, and whisking it up before throwing it in the pan.
Q
The new year is the perfect time to try new things. What Happy Egg Co. recipe will you try?

A
I personally prefer the Deviled Eggs recipe. I’ve always had a thing for them (they’re one of my favorite food items in general), and I always clean house at parties where they’re served! Being able to prepare them quickly and simply at home is definitely enticing!
Q
Happy Egg Hens are pasture raised with over 8 acres of outdoor space to run + play. What do you think of Happy Eggs high animal welfare standards?

A
I like the fact that Happy Egg is dedicated to raising their birds free-range. The way that the industrial complex treats animals, and especially chickens, is horrifying sometimes. Even the conditions that “cage-free” hens endure aren’t anything I’d wish on any living creature. Kudos to Happy Egg for giving their hens a better lifestyle, not just for the quality of the product, but for the hens themselves.
Q
What do you think of Happy Egg’s choice to raise their hens on small family farms, in support of family farmers?

A
This is another great way that Happy Eggs shows their commitment to not just a quality product, but a caring and compassionate one.

A caring, compassionate, quality way to enjoy eggs.
