Strawberry Vinaigrette Flavorful or Funky?

In Partnership with Bitten

Sweet or Tart? We talked to Brandon from CT about his recent experience trying the new Bitten Salad Dressing flavors -- Strawberry and Lemon Poppy Seed. Read below to see what he had to say.

“The Strawberry vinaigrette has a nice strawberry flavor right at the beginning with a little bit of creaminess followed by a vinegar finish which is quite nice. Compared to the poppy seed the poppy has more of a creamy start and light lemon flavor to it. I think it could use a little more lemon flavor both are really good, both are light and both don't have too much acidity.”

“I think bite Worthy is a better descriptor meaning it is worthy of use. Crave inducing to me means that something is so delicious that I crave it non-stop, that is not the sensation that I get with these vinaigrettes although I do enjoy them. I have chosen Lemon Poppy Seed in the past through other brands and I enjoy it and occasionally I'll go for a fruity one here and they're usually like a raspberry vinaigrette have some sort however option was Strawberry this time although your raspberry balsamic or whatever other option there was on the Shelf probably would have been my first choice over Strawberry however the flavors are still delicious between both and I will be eating both of them after this review.”

“I think either one of these dressings would work on any type of lettuce I personally was in the store to purchase and prepare arugula and spinach this week for my salads so that's exactly what they will be going on. I feel like a Strawberry will match a spinach better cuz arugula is a little bit more peppery, whereas the Lemon Poppy Seed will probably compliment the arugula better which is where I'm going to go.”

“The dressing itself is super light and creamy. It was actually a lot lighter than I was expecting it to be. Airy might even be a better word to use it to describe it. I'm pretty open to trying new dressings with new flavor combinations so I wanted to be surprised and happy with the flavor of some type of strawberry vinaigrette which I am.”
The Bitten Salad Dressing product is very tasty and has a few different flavor options which I am excited to test and try with different combinations in my salads.
