There's a New Fruit-Filled Option in the Salad Dressing Game

In Partnership with Bitten

We talked to Jeff from WA and here’s what he had to say:

Q
What are some of your favourite ways to get active in the summer?

A
I like walking or doing yard work when it is warm outside. I like the relaxed nature of walking and I like getting things done doing yard work while enjoying the sun. I like walking with friends, family, or alone.
Q
Tell us about the Bitten Salad Dressing flavors you tried.

A
I tried both the Strawberry and Blueberry Basil with a salad, with each side of the salad with the different flavor. I like the richness and the strawberry flavor of the Creamy Strawberry. I like the more subtle Blueberry Basil as a combination with salad, so I probably would prefer the blueberry. Each would be good on a summer salad with more fruit toppings than meats or pastas. It would be a good flavor change of pace as a dressing.
Q
What did you think of a creamy fruit dressing?

A
I would prefer a creamy fruit dressing to a vinaigrette, which I do not hardly ever have with salads. I’m a big fan of this option versus, as you say, how it would normally be consumed as a dressing with a vinaigrette. I do normally go with creamy dressings like ranch, thousand island, or bleu cheese.
Q
What flavor of Bitten Salad Dressing do you want to try next?

A
Lemon Poppyseed sounds intriguing and may be the best variety to put on a salad. I like lemon juice and it would be the least fruity of the flavors I believe, so it would blend better with a wider variety of salad toppings.
It was a fruity and creamy experience that changed how I viewed fruit and dressing as a combination.
